On the 23rd of June Alrowwad Cultural and Arts Society on Saturday launched the activities of the third annual summer camp under the slogan of ” Aydoun” with the participation of more than 100 children from Aida refugee camp and the surrounding areas in Bethlehem and in the presence of a group of supervisors and volunteers.
This summer camp will be filled with sports and cultural competitions, trips and many important workshops in life skills, arts and various activities that will have a positive impact on future participants, while the ages range between 8-16 years of both sexes.
The activities of the camp began amidst the shouts of the groups and the activities of Breaking barriers and getting acquainted with the participants in a great interaction by the participants. The summer camp will take a place until 5th of July.
Moreover Dr. Abdelfattah Abusrour, the Founder and General Director at Alrowwad Society, said that the activities offered by the Alrowwad through the summer camp are mainly aimed at enhancing the national identity of children, use of their leisure time properly, and the Summer Camps are not only for entertainment, but also for refining the child’s creative, social and national character and highlighting the unknown talents of our children.
The parents of the participating children expressed their happiness at the successful launch of activities that will open the way for children to participate in all activities, which is expected to have a positive impact on children especially in the difficult circumstances experienced by our people and also to open the way for the crews and specialists to discover creative talents and develop them correctly after the end of the camp.
The activities of the camp are different: games, electronic games, color drawing, craft tools, handicrafts, story reading, theater, dabke, music, photography, and many other cultural and health workshops.
