9-7-2018 Alrowwad Cultural and Arts Society launched the activities of the summer camp specialized for girls on Monday, with participation of 30 volunteers from the Aida camp girls and the surrounding areas.
The Summer Camp for Girls was the result of an idea launched several years ago by the Women’s Program to motivate girls to use the summer vacation to increase their knowledge and mental and physical abilities through cultural, artistic and educational activities and specialized workshops in a number of areas of interest to them.
For his part, Dr. Abdel Fattah Abu Sorour, General Director of Alrowwad Association said that the launch of the Girls’ Summer Camp Dance Workshops for the third year in a row is a new opportunity to discover more creativity among girls and to develop their abilities to reach a positive outcome that reflects on the personal level of each girl.
It is worth mentioning that since its first day the specialized camp provided the opportunity for the girls to express themselves through spaces for dialogue in addition to sessions of health and psychological education. The camp continues its effectiveness over 15 days to include more creative and distinctive activities.
